Selling Peachtree Corners

A look at Gwinnett's newest city and all it has to offer.

On the first of July, as most know, we celebrated the birth of Peachtree Corners, the city. There was intense excitement on the face of all as we embraced cityhood. Marching in the parade, I found myself fighting back tears.

I thought we all might wish to reflect on why this new city may have been the best kept secret in Gwinnett. Beauty, recreation, top schools and lovely neighborhoods all add to the desirability.

Having the beauty of the Chattahoochee River as the border on the north and west provides Peachtree Corners residents with beautiful natural areas to fish, walk, play, run and picnic.

Sidewalks throughout the area provide all the opportunity to run or walk to dining and shopping from just about anywhere in Peachtree Corners.

Top schools in the state provide a huge draw to the area. Our public schools are outstanding offering the International Baccalaureate from elementary to high school. We have some of the most talented students in the country with and regularly showcased for their successes.

Norcross High School won High Q Championship beating Marist and was the first high school in Georgia to offer the Beacularte program to students. The sports program is known throughout the country.

US News & World Report ranked Duluth High School 10th of all public schools in Georgia, and the highest among all Gwinnett county public schools.

Located across from Norcross High School and in Peachtree Corners you have another school with a long tradition of excellence. , a private school, has long been known for its academic excellence and top notch sports program.

Shopping is a piece of cake and seems to get better each week. we all love has been a great boost to our resale value. Now with the new and , a new art gallery, we are expanding our market. Outstanding restaurants make it unnecessary to leave the city for fine dining and provide variety to suit all.

The city can boast beautiful parks and recreation with and offering just about any outdoor activity you desire. Of course, in the heart of Peachtree Corners we have the which is recognized nationally as one of the strongest Y’s in the county.

Combine all of the above with beautiful neighborhoods, stunning entry ways and spectacular homes, where pride of ownership is evident, and you have all the ingredients to protect your home value.
