Walker's Win in Wisconsin is a Small Blow To Obama
Walker's win is a big blow to Unions.
On Tuesday, Governor Walker, a republican who pushed for measures to strip collective bargaining rights from unions, won a recall vote against Mayor Tom Barrett to remain the Governor of Wisconsin. With almost all the votes in , Walker led by a 53-46 margin.
Walker became the focus of Democratic supporters opposition once he signed a bill that took collective bargaining rights away as a way to close the state's gap in budget.
500,000 signatures were required to hold a recall vote, the group opposing Walker was able to gather 900,000.
