Where to Celebrate Memorial Day in Gwinnett
There is plenty to do on Monday, a day set aside to honor those who have sacrificed their lives to protect our nation.
Many think of Memorial Day weekend as the unofficial beginning of summer but it is also a day set aside to remember the men and women who died while serving in the United States Armed Forces.
In Gwinnett, Monday is filled with parades, concerts - and a special ceremony to honor our fallen heroes.
Dacula: The city is holding a day full of festivities that begin Monday morning with a 5K run at 8:30 a.m., parade at 10 a.m. and festival from 9-5 p.m. All take place in downtown Dacula. Visit www.daculamemorialday.com for more information.
