Common Core & SPLOST Informational Meeting Sponsored by UPCCA

Join us this Monday for an engaging and informative session on Common Core and the upcoming SPLOST vote.  There will be door prizes and a time for Q&A.

Mr. Wilbanks, CEO/Superintendent of Gwinnett County Public Schools, will provide information from the local school system level on the Gwinnett County Public School’s AKS curriculum and its relation to the Common Core standards. He will also discuss Common Core standards from the State level.

Ms. Nash, Chairman of the Gwinnett County Commission, will update the community on the proposed three year Gwinnett County SPLOST (Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax) initiative to be brought to the voters of Gwinnett County in November 2013.
