The Gwinnett Gladiators annual "Teddy Bear Toss" is slated for Saturday, February 1st when the Orlando Solar Bears visit the Arena at Gwinnett Center for a 7:05 pm face-off.
In this one-of-a-kind professional hockey tradition, fans are encouraged to bring a new teddy bear or any type of stuffed animal to toss onto the ice and interrupt the game following the Gladiators first goal.
The stuffed toys are collected for distribution to children’s charities and pediatric medical care facilities throughout metro Atlanta and North Georgia, including personal appearance visits for one-on-one patient interaction by Gladiators player personnel.
