My Campaign Begins Now

Georgia State Capitol
Georgia State Capitol

Today, I officially qualified for office in the Georgia House of Representatives District 95 race. The real campaign begins now.

The people of House District 95 (which includes Peachtree Corners, Norcross, Duluth, Berkeley Lake and a small part of John’s Creek) deserve a Representative that will work for us -- all of us.  They are ready for a fresh voice and new ideas to help lead our community into the future. I will bring my business background and experience working with diverse economies,  cultures, and organizations to help create jobs and lower taxes, improve schools and higher education, and encourage more environmental and ethical reforms in our State government.

I have been humbled by all of the support I have received so far, but will continue to need your help. Please join me today and experience this campaign journey together with me.

Please check out my profile, keep up with the campaign updates and look out for my next post!

Thank you and best wishes,

Congratulations Amreeta on your candidacy! We need more women to represent the mainstream and our issues. I look forward to participating in your campaign and seeing you through to the Georgia House of Representatives!

I am glad that you are in the race. We need new people with new experiences and ideas. I know you are well qualified to take on this job and looking forward to support you on this journey. We need more women like you to enter politics.

Best wishes. I know you'll serve District 95 and the state better than the incumbent.

Amen to the above! I have just read the League of Women Voters "Under the Gold Dome" for week 8 of the legislative session and am sick. The "good ole boys" in the legislature do not care about women because it does not affect them.
