Atlanta based Street Grace (Galvanizing Resources Against Child Exploitation) is a non-profit organization formed to bring an end to child sex slavery and exploitation. The organization has formed a non-denominational affiliation with local area organizations to make their vision a reality working toward eliminating the commercial sexual exploitation of children (CSEC). Many times when we hear stories of child prostitution, we assume that this happens in a far away country, but the numbers are staggering that these horrible crimes take place here in our own backyards. A CSEC demand study showed that over 400 adolescent females are prostituted each month in Georgia. Street Grace focuses on the most vulnerable youth in our communities through awareness, prayer, mobilization, support of at risk youth and restoration. On January 21, 2012, from 10am through 2pm, the non-profit organization will be working in conjunction with IMS Electronics Recycling, an electronics recycling company with its regional headquarters located in the metro Atlanta area to hold an electronics recycling event. The location is at 5995 Financial Dr, Norcross….just off of Jimmy Carter and Brookhollow Parkway.

IMS Electronics Recycling has its Southeastern headquarters located at 5235 Snapfinger Woods Drive, Decatur, GA., has a long history of supporting the community.  The company “has the commitment to reduce waste and reduce the transfer of waste from one environmental medium to another.”  IMS Electronics Recycling has used its environmental presence to bring attention to various causes such as school fundraisers, e-waste collection fairs, and now a great cause like protecting our children from the dangers of child exploitation. Great organizations have used our facility for fundraising events, or have had us to come out to support the community by properly discarding of e-waste and combining our message with theirs.
