The Excitement of a New City!

The excitement of creating Georgia's newest and largest city is catching on!

The excitement of creating Georgia’s newest and largest city is catching on!

We have so many opportunities to learn from the experiences of our sister cities
of Dunwoody, Johns Creek, and Sandy Springs. We also, even more importantly, have the chance to build on what they have learned (sometimes the hard way) as they have created their own long term plans, negotiated their own vendor contracts, and gotten so many of their citizens involved.

The excitement is building in Peachtree Corners, too. There are currently 19 energized and committed candidates for the 6 positions on our City Council. The yard signs are appearing all over, the websites and blogs are busy, and the flyers are being printed.

I am delighted to be a part of this historic process. I am running for the at-large Post 4, and I will put my heart and soul into serving my fellow Peachtree Corners-ians (what are we going to call ourselves anyway??!!)

I am a self-starter who has pulled myself up by my own bootstraps. I have the drive and the energy to help get our beloved new city off on the right foot. I am organized, and I know how to plan. I can lead a group, and I can be a part of the team.

Don’t forget to vote on March 6! Please attend at least one of the upcoming candidate forums:  Jan 30, Jan 31, and Feb 6.  All are at from 7:30 to 9.  I am looking forward to meeting everyone.
