Does my vote really matter in the upcoming Peachtree Corners Runoff Election?

This Blog speaks to the Votiing Importance for the City of Peachtree Corners

 

The Short answer is a resounding  YES!

Here is the Reality Test:

1). Only Post 1 and Post 2 have determined their Council Representatives, Phil Sadd for Post 1 and Jay Lowe for Post 2.

2). Post 3 is still Undecided.

3). All of the At-Large, Post 4, Post 5 and Post 6 are undecided.

4). Post 1, Post 3 and Post 5 are (4 year terms), Post 2, Post 4 and Post 6 are (2 year terms).

So the facts are that 2/3 of the Council have yet to be determined.

Question: Since my Council person has been decided do I need to vote? 

Answer:  Yes, you still choose who will represent the City at Large in Post 4, Post 5, and Post 6.

Ballots must be received at the Elections Office by 7 p.m. on April 3, 2012 to count. Once you receive your ballot, Vote and mail in immediately.

2)   Early Voting commences today March 26 thru March 30 at the Gwinnett Elections/Registration Office located  at 455 Grayson Hwy, Ste 200, Lawrenceville, GA 30046. Voting hours are 8:00-5:00.

3)   Go to the Polls at your Precinct on April 3rd.
