The week of February 4-8, 2013 has been declared Severe Weather Awareness Week in Georgia.

The recent wintery weather in the Georgia mountains and tornadoes in Adairsville shows how unpredictable the weather really is.  This week (February 4-8) has been declared Severe Weather Awareness Week in Georgia.

Do you have a family emergency plan?  Do you know what to do during a thunderstorm?  How to be safe when there is lightening?  The Gwinnett, Newton and Rockdale County Health Departments have put together information on what you should know about severe weather.
