Buy a House Before New Year's Day

The home buying process continues right through the holiday season.

Holiday homes show beautifully and yes people buy homes during the holiday season.

Many people think that the real estate market shuts down during the holidays. The market does slow but you can bet that serious buyers will be out there looking.  For people who get bonuses, that may be the incentive needed to purchase their dream home. Some of the best homes are on the market at the very best prices. Check out these best buys.

Would you believe that you could spend Christmas Eve in your new home? Of course, circumstances vary but with the right combination it is possible  to make it happen. There are hundreds of sellers, Realtors and lenders out there who would do their part to make it happen.

I have sold a few homes over the years with one or two week closings. I have seen sellers with no thought of being completely out of their home in 14 days, but the right buyer with the right terms and conditions, made it difficult for the seller to say no. I’ve had clients fly into Atlanta in December with a directive from a new employer to report for work the first week of January.
