Disney Haunted Mansion Replica for Sale

The 10,000-square-foot home in Duluth's Sweet Bottom Plantation gated community has hit the real estate market just in time for Halloween.

Interested in living in a “haunted house” complete with scary noises, flickering lights, and “ghosts.” A replica of Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion in Anaheim, CA, that was built in Duluth’s Sweet Bottom Plantation is for sale just in time for Halloween.

Theme Park Connection is selling the more than 10,000-square-foot home in the gated community. It is the only known home modeled after a Disney attraction, according to a press release announcing the house’s availability.

The owner designed the home in 1996 with dimensions and architectural features to match the Haunted Mansion in Disneyland.

He used the same foundry for the iron in his home that Walt Disney used for the real attraction The mansion has an authentic welcome plaque at the gate entrance. It also has four white pillars and four faux smokestacks like the Disneyland Haunted Mansion.

The Duluth home does not have an internal buggy ride like the California attraction. And it’s not really haunted, according to the owner, who lived there with his wife and sons after building it. He is currently working on a replica of Walt Disney’s backyard barn.

The spacious home has seven bedrooms and six baths. One of the bathrooms features an animated ghost scene.

“This definitely is the most unique Disney item we have ever offered for sale,” Marc Pianko, CEO of Theme Park Connection, said in the press release. “We sell unique Disney items like ride vehicles, attraction props and signs. This home would be a dream come true for any Disney collector, and Theme Park Connection is thrilled to sell this Haunted Mansion replica.”
