Homes $200,000 and Under are Top Sellers in Today's Market
Peachtree Corners and Berkeley Lake downward real estate price pressure has produced an increase in interest of the $200,000 and under market.
This week our focus is on homes priced at $200,000 and below in the Simpson, Peachtree and Berkeley Lake elementary school districts.
Recent statistics show that homes in the $200,000 price range and below are showing a disproportionate increase in sales. Perhaps it would come as a surprise to many that there are 37 homes in the Berkeley Lake, Peachtree and Simpson school districts listed at or below $200,000.
There were 32 homes sold below $200,000 in these neighborhoods year-to-date. These homes were listed and sold for $100,000 to $200,000.
Great homes, in great neighborhoods are available. In previous markets many first time home buyers were hard pressed to find affordable homes in this area of excellent schools and close proximity to Atlanta. Check out a few of the homes now on the market.
5279 Meadowdale Court: Located in the Simpson Elementary School district and priced at $175,000 this three bedroom ranch is on a cul-de-sac and offers a beautiful private lot.
5567 Fitzpatrick Terrace is in the North Manor subdivision. Priced at $196,900, it's an ideal place to raise a family. Bank owned, and a price that is hard to beat in this neighborhood known for large wooded lots.

3475 Spalding Chase Drive is located in Peachtree School District and is a foreclosure offered at $186,500 This is a deal! This is a neighborhood of much higher priced homes.
6235 Courtside Drive in Peachtree Forest is in the Peachtree School district and is priced at $179,900. What a wonderful neighborhood and what a price!
