It's been a promising year for Peachtree Corners home real estate, home prices have increased and the number of homes sold has risen also. Here's a look at the numbers for the month of November.
There were 19 homes sold in November 2012. In the same month of 2011 there were 15 homes sold. Year to date in the City of Peachtree Corners 279 homes have sold compared to 192 for the same period of 2011. This represents 32 percent increase in the homes sold this year.
There are 45 homes under contract and waiting to close. This is another excellent sign that we are on the road to recovery.
The average price of a home that sold in November, 2011 in the area which is now the City of Peachtree Corners was $234,800. The average price of a home that sold in November, 2012 in the same area increased by more than $50,000 to $284,484. This shows a nice increase in price but this is a small sampling so one home sale could affect the average significantly.
There is still plenty of inventory. There are 96 homes on the market which is a four-month supply. There were 96 homes on the market last month as well. This means that 19 homes were added to the market and 19 homes sold.
