The 411 on Upcoming Peachtree Corners Candidate Forums

Each candidate will have campaign materials for voters to review and take with them. Including; information sheets, fliers, cards and yard signs.

There are 3 Candidate Forums at Christ the King Lutheran Church from 7:30pm – 9:30pm designed for voters in each post (district) to get to know who’s running for Peachtree Corners City Council. ()

Post 1, 2 & 3 are geographic; they will only be at the following:

  • Post 1(Nneka Chukwu, Phil Sadd, Joe Sawyer) - Monday, January 30th
  • Post 2 (Jay Lowe and Steve Peet) – Tuesday, January 31st – I will be available at all 3
  • Post 3 (Scott Ehrlich, David Proud, Alex Wright) - Monday, February 6th

While “At Large” candidates will more than likely be at each forum:

  • Post 4 At-Large (2 year term) - Robert Byars , Jeanne Aulbach, Robert Indech, Gloria Rucks
  • Post 5 At-Large (4 year term) - Lorri Christopher, Brent Johnson, Gray Terry
  • Post 6 At-Large (2 year term) - Brian Stickney, Weare Gratwick, Ray Cobb, David Leader

Each Candidate will have 3 minutes in the beginning for an introduction.  After the introductions (approximately 30-45 minutes) the moderator will ask questions and the candidate will be given 2 minutes to respond.  No questions will be available prior to the forum.

The forums were organized along district lines so voters would only need to come to one.  Many of the candidates will arrive around 7pm and after 9:30pm (including myself) for voters to personally meet.  Because there will be around 15 candidates at each forum their speaking time will be very limited.

My campaign will be hosting an informal candidate Meet & Greet at Grouchy’s NY Deli on Saturday, February 18th from 2:30-4:30pm.  The goal is to give voters one last chance to personally meet all the candidates in a relaxed environment.
