Fall Fashion Fun at The Forum

Fall Fashion and Friends

There has been a dip in temperatures and fall fashions are showing up everywhere. For those of you who have fallen off the fashion wagon …. this is the year to bring yourself back to life. Look inside yourself and try and figure out who you are and what you want to be. Starting with something as simple as a new top can be so inspiring.

The fun look of the '60s is back or a tailored military look to abstract delights. The great thing about this year's trends is that there really does appear to be something for everybody.

To start your journey grab a friend and head to The Forum. Take someone who is going to be honest, yet encouraging. Remember ladies be kind to yourself, sizes are a mere suggestion.

When trying on clothing, get it close and then fine tune your purchase with an alteration. Tu and Thu Alterations and Shoes (5450 Peachtree Pkwy.) next to Los Arcos does a great job and is fast. Don't wait until you have to find something, shopping can be stressful enough let alone with a deadline. Try to find a little time to start your exploration!

My fashion pick for this blog is a gorgeous faux vest at Festivity at The Forum. The vest is Jack by BB Dakota called, Janika  the cost of this vest is only $65.00! This year everyone should find a way to incorporate at little faux fur!

Also, coming up next Friday, Sept. 30 from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. at The Forum Brighton, is their annual fundraiser POWER FOR PINK;  a breast cancer awareness event that is a national event as well as a local one.

Brighton has chosen a local non-profit organization Mothers and Daughters Against Cancer  (MADAC) to unveil its new limited edition Power of Pink Bracelet.  For every pink bracelet sold MADAC will receive $10.00! Thank you Brighton for helping to battle breast cancer as well as supporting such a wonderful organization! This will be great way to start your fashion exploration! Stop by and bring a friend to the store for some refreshments and a look at Brighton's new fall collection! No RSVP needed.

I will be blogging on fashion from time to time, and I am always looking for a deal. So if you see a deal that you would like to share please let me know and I will be happy to put it out there.
