"That government is best which governs least" – Henry David Thoreau

I will always strive to have knowledgeable citizens in our communities.

FUD – Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt – has driven a lot of the conversation in the final days before the election.  This is normal behavior when people are unable to access all of the information.  In our 24/7 society, it is difficult to find the time to gather all of the information.  As I have been walking our communities, I have enjoyed sharing my knowledge of the city and learning from our citizens.

Saturday morning, I received a call from a Peachtree Corners resident in response to a call from my campaign.  She was unaware that she was part of our city.  I shared the information about the city and its charter, as I have from the beginning.  Through my web site, my campaign has shared the City Charter, a map of the city with its districts, unadulterated sample ballots for each of the 3 voting districts in addition to general voter information.

As an educator, I know that information leads to knowledge.  I will always strive to have knowledgeable citizens in our communities.  If I have the pleasure to serve the citizens of Peachtree Corners, I will ask the following questions when dealing with any issue:

  1. Is it in the charter?
  2. Is it right thing to do?
  3. Is it needed?
  4. Can we afford it?

My name is Lorri Christopher and I would be grateful for your consideration to serve you as your Peachtree Corners City Council Representative for At Large Post 5.  For more information on me and my background, please visit my web site at electlorri5.org.
