Lake Berkeley Water Level Rising

The lake in the City of Berkeley Lake is almost full again.

After being reduced to a mud puddle when the 88-acre lake was drained so that repairs could be made to the earthen dam, lake levels are finally returning to near normal.

Historical rainfall on Sept. 9, 2009 damaged the 65-year-old dam which required $3.55 million in repairs.
