“To me, there’s no better way to get involved in the community than through Rotary.”

Todd Evans, the 2013/2014 Peachtree Corners Rotary Club President, is a long-time Rotary member.

He has been a member of various Rotary clubs throughout the region for seventeen years, finally landing in Norcross with the Peachtree Corners Rotary Club.  Evans has been in the Commercial/Industrial Marketing Department at Jackson EMC since 2002. In addition to Rotary International, Evans is active in the Georgia Economic Developers Association, UGA Terry College of Business, Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce, and the Council for Quality Growth, and is a 2006 graduate of Leadership Gwinnett.

As Peachtree Corners Rotary President, Evans’ vision is to incrementally grow the Club’s membership with quality members, improve the Club’s presence within the community, and broaden the spectrum of the guest speakers through involving all Club members in the selection process.  He feels that there is a large amount of untapped membership opportunities within the Norcross and Peachtree Corners communities alone.  These communities alone house many Engineering firms, multi-million dollar corporations, and countless small businesses who are invaluable members of their local communities and beyond.  Evans hopes to see more of these outstanding organizations represented through Rotary membership; he further states “To me, there’s no better way to get involved in the community than through Rotary.”

The Peachtree Corners Rotary Club meets Mondays at noon at the Carlyle House in Norcross. The Carlyle House is located at 173 S. Peachtree St., Norcross, GA 30071.
