2 Indicted for April Killing of Bystander at Gwinnett Apartments

One of the suspects is still on the loose.

Two men believed to be responsible for the shooting death of an innocent bystander near a Norcross apartment complex in April have been indicted by a Gwinnett County grand jury.

Quinton Troy Hall and Sherwin Richard Johnson were indicted this week, according to the Gwinnett Daily Post, on charges of felony murder, possession of a firearm during a felony and aggravated assault. They are blamed for the April 13 shooting death of Kevin Pierre near the Bradford Gwinnett Apartments. Police said the shooting started as a dispute between people who knew each other, but Pierre was not involved and was considered a bystander.

Hall is still at large, Johnson was caught 10 days after the incident.
