GCPD Asks Public's Help to Find McDonald's Bathroom Robber

The suspect seriously injured a 74-year-old man while taking his wallet.

Gwinnett Police are looking for a man wanted in connection with a robbery in a McDonald's bathroom, during which a 74-year-old man was injured.

Police have surveillance camera images of the suspect, who they think entered the bathroom at the McDonald’s on Indian Trail Road in Norcross around 1 p.m. Feb. 24 and accosted the man.

Police said in an email alert that the man tried to take the victim’s wallet from his pocket and, after the elderly man resisted, “physically attacked him.”

The man suffered serious injuries, including a laceration on his face and a fractured back, according to police.

The suspect fled on foot. He is described by police as a black man, age 40 to 50, 6 feet, 240 pounds, short hair and mustache.
