Local Man Charged with Vehicular Homicide

Soo Han Kim, a Peachtree Corners resident, was charged with vehicular homicide and failure to yield in the Friday evening accident.

A local man is out on bond, following a two-vehicle crash that killed a man from Cumming.

Forsyth News reports that "Soo Wan Kim of Norcross" was charged with second-degree vehicular homicide.

Gwinnett County jail records state the man's name as "Soo Han Kim." He is listed as living at 4894 Berkeley Oak Circle, which is in Peachtree Corners.

He was booked into jail just after 9 p.m. on July 26, and then released the next day. In addition to vehicular homicide ($5,700 bond), he is charged with failure to yield ($650 bond).

Forsyth News reports that Kim turned left on Old Peachtree Road into the path of a motorcycle driven by Joe Vaughn, of Cumming.
