Man, Woman Discovered Slain in Grayson

A couple, both in their 80s, found by Gwinnett Police Sunday morning.

A couple in their 80s were involved in an apparent murder-suicide Sunday morning in Grayson.

According to a press release from the Gwinnett County Police Department, officers responded to a report of a suicide at 2142 Loganville Highway in Grayson at about 7 a.m. This is the location of the First Baptist Church of Grayson.

The officer located the two deceased persons and reported that the preliminary investigation indicates that their deaths were the result of a murder suicide.Β

"At this time we are not releasing the names of the deceased pending notification of next of kin," public information officer Cpl. Jennifer Roberts said in a press release.
