Peachtree Corners Man Charged with Selling Fake Insurance Policies

John Paul Kill has been charged with 10 counts of insurance fraud, and more charges are possible.

A Gwinnett County man has been charged with 10 counts of felony insurance fraud for selling fake polices and running an unlicensed insurance company.

Insurance Commissioner Ralph Hudgens told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution John Paul Kill, 63, was arrested on Thursday, July 24, for targeting trucking and construction companies through Appeal Insurance Company from his home in Peachtree Corners.

Bond was set at $2,400 for each of the 10 charges, according to Gwinnett County Jail records. Kill’s address was listed as 5548 Naylor Court, which is located in Peachtree Corners.

Hudgens told the newspaper his investigation found 750 potential victims and more charges were possible.
