Peachtree Corners Man Found Dead

Police have arrested man's grandson and charged him with murder.

PEACHTREE CORNERS - Shortly before 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 13, 2012, Gwinnett County Police were called to the Valencia Apartments on Peachtree Corners Circle and discoverd the body of a 59-year-old man wrapped in a blanket.

The deceased has been identified as William Andre Stridion and police have charged the man's 19-year-old grandson, Arion Henderson of Lawrenceville, with murder. 

"Police were responding to a phone request from friends of his who said they had not heard from him in a few days," said Cpl. Jake Smith, spokesman for the Gwinnett County Police Department. "Mr. Stridion suffered from various medical conditions, and they were concerned."

Police said the cause of death was not immediately apparent but appeared to be suspicious, later the Medical Examiner confirmed the man had been stabbed.

Gwinnett County Police Department Homicide Unit is currently investigating the incident as a homicide and investigators said Stridion's grandson has been arrested and charged with the following counts; Murder, Aggravated Assault, Concealing the Death of Another, 2 counts of Theft by Receiving.

Henderson is being held at the Gwinnett County Jail without bond. Police said the investigation is ongoing.
