A Hinesville man is facing charges after allegedly crashing his car into the living room of a house on Christmas morning.
According to WTOC, 30-year-old Garvari Dixon-Lewis was drag racing a second man -- identified as Howard Craig -- on Lakeview Road, when he lost control of his car on a curve and plowed into a house.
The family that resided in the house was in the living room when the car crashed through the wall, but no injuries were reported, according to WTOC.
Homeowner Cefarino Gandia told WTOC that Dixon-Lewis tried to restart the engine after crashing into the house, and asked the family what they had done to his car.
Dixon-Lewis was charged with driving under the influence, drag racing and possessing an open container of alcohol, according to WTOC. Howard Craig was also cited for racing.
