Police ID Participants in Deadly Triple Shooting At Apartment Complex

Police say Tevin Saffo, 21, was killed in Sunday night shootout at Bristol Court Apartments.

Gwinnett Police said there was evidence of drugs at the scene where a man was killed in a triple shooting Sunday night in Peachtree Corners.

Monday afternoon police identified the dead man as Tevin Saffo, 21. Two other people were shot in the incident at the Bristol Court Apartments, located at 3655 Westchase Village Lane. Tyler Reeves, also 21, was in serious condition Monday at Gwinnett Medical Center. Talon Dunkentell, 28, was treated for a minor wound and released from the hospital. She was arrested and charged with obstruction of justice and aggravated assault, and detectives believe she fired a gun during the incident.

“Detectives located drugs and drug paraphernalia at the scene of the incident,” Gwinnett Police spokesman Cpl. Jake Smith said in an emailed media release. “Detectives are investigating what role the drugs played in the incident.”

On Sunday, Gwinnett Officer Jeffrey Richter said “some type of altercation” was followed by gunshots around 10:30 p.m. at the Bristol Court Apartments. Police found three people with gunshot wounds. Saffo died at the scene.

No other information was available, due to the ongoing investigation of the case.
