Angela Rabotte, the Gwinnett mother who was found dead in Lilburn Thursday, was shot to death, authorities said Friday.
The Gwinnett Daily Post reported the Gwinnett County Medical Examiner ruled Rabotte, 26, of Norcross, died of a gunshot wound. Her body was found Thursday morning by a survey crew in a wooded area near Arcado Road and Lilburn Industrial Way.
She was last seen around 6 a.m. Saturday, March 29. She had dropped off her 3-year-old daughter Friday night before attending a party in Atlanta.
Lilburn police spokesman Capt. Thomas Bardugon told the Post the department was interviewing people who had last seen Rabotte, but declined to give specifics. Gwinnett Police spokesman Cpl. Jake Smith said a man already in custody on other charges was being interviewed. Police think he was with Rabotte some time Friday night/Saturday morning last weekend.
