The Peachtree Corners-Berkeley Lake Police Report

A look at reported police activity in the two communities from August 6-15.

The information in the blotter was obtained from crimemapping.com and the Gwinnett County Police Department and does not indicate a conviction.

Aug. 10:  Theft/Larceny was reported in the 5100 block of Peachtree Parkway NW at 7:30 p.m.  Description:  Entering Auto

Aug. 10:  Vandalism was reported in the 1100 block of Park Lake Ln. NW at 1 a.m.  Description:  Criminal Damage---2nd Degree

Aug. 8:  Theft/Larceny was reported in the 5600 block of Peachtree Parkway NW at 10 p.m.  Description:  Entering Auto   Details:  

 On this date, at approximately 9:25 p.m., police responded to a Theft of a Vehicle that occurred at 5600 Peachtree Parkway in Peachtree Corners. The victims, Gregory E. Wilson and Max E. Updike, both from Young Harris, GA, decided to handle the incident report over the telephone. Wilson told police that sometime during the given time period, someone entered his car and took items belonging to Updike while it was parked in the parking lot of the Hyatt Place Hotel.  The victim told police that the break in was done by breaking one of the windows. The victim was unable to provide an estimated cost to repair the damages to the vehicle at the time of this report. At this time, there are no known suspects or witnesses.

Aug. 8:  Theft/Larceny was reported in the 3700 block of Elmside Village Ln. NW at 12:01 a.m.  Description:  Entering Auto

Aug. 7:  Assault was reported in the 9400 block of Springs Ln. NW at 5:20 p.m.  Description:  Simple Battery

Aug. 6:  Theft/Larceny was reported in the 800 block of Glenleaf Dr. at 6:54 a.m.  Description:  Theft/Lost/Mislaid Property   Details:   

 On this date, police were called to 807 Glenleaf Dr. in Peachtree Corners in response to a Property Found call.  The complainant, Katherine t. Gerristen, told police that around July 25, 2011, she was in her backyard and found a bicycle, but nobody came to claim the bike.  The bicycle, a Trek 3700 with white color (serial # WTUQ42C1009D) was transported to 770 Hi-Hope Road in Lawrenceville, and logged into evidence.  The bike was placed in the outside evidence locker, on property sheet #118600.  There is nothing further at this time.
