Trio Rescued from Chattahoochee River Near Jones Bridge Park

The adults were stranded in the middle of the Chattahoochee River.

Emergency crews rescued three stranded adults from the Chattahoochee River on Thursday.

According to a live WSB-TV report two people -- a man and a woman -- were stuck in the middle of the river, grasping tightly to an inflatable boat. Another man was standing on a nearby rock.

They were located near Jones Bridge Park in North Fulton County near the Gwinnett County boarder, the report also stated.

It is unclear how long the three were waiting for emergency help, but by 4:50 p.m. all had been rescued. Gwinnett County rescuers were among those who responded.

Patch will follow up with additional details when available.
