UPDATE: Child Struck, Killed in Lenora Park was from Grayson

Vehicle was backing up in parking lot when the 14-month-old girl was struck in Lenora Park.

Gwinnett police on Monday identified 1-year-old Olivia Hellwig of Grayson as the victim in Saturday's fatal accident in the parking lot of  in unincorporated Snellville.

Preliminary investigation, according to a news release, found that Tekila Glass, 30, of Riverdale was backing a 2005 Chrysler Pacifica through the parking lot so she could park in an available space. Olivia's mother was pushing her in a stroller and came out from in between two  parked vehicles into the path of Glass' vehicle. Glass, police said, was unable to avoid collision and struck Olivia in her stroller.

Hellwig later died at Egleston Hospital in Atlanta from injuries sustained in the accident.

"This accident is still under investigation. At this time it appears that both parties may be equally at fault and the investigators are trying to determine what charges may be applicable to this incident," Cpl. Edwin Ritter wrote in a news release.
