Gwinnett Woman Stabbed to Death at Home

Gwinnett Police say the 64-year-old woman's car was found in a parking lot at Sugarloaf Mills Mall.

A woman was reportedly killed in her home outside the Lawrenceville city limits late Wednesday night, November 21.

At about 10:45 pm, Gwinnett County Police were called to a home at 1403 Alamein Drive in unincorporated Lawrenceville. When they arrived, officers found a woman dead from multiple stab wounds.

The victim was identified as Parviz Moledina, 64.

According to police, Moledina lived alone. Gwinnett Police Cpl. Jake Smith said the woman's car, a silver 2007 Volvo station wagon, was missing from the home.

Early Thanksgiving morning, GCPD officers found Moledina's car in a parking lot at Sugarloaf Mills Mall, formerly Discover Mills Mall. Officers conducted surveillance for several hours on the vehicle and inside the mall; however no suspects were located.

Investigators do not have information about suspects or motivation for the crime. Anyone with information on this case is asked to call the Homicide Unit detectives at 770-513-5300.
