Peachtree Corners first city elections is Tuesday, March 6, the same day as the presidential primaries.

The Gwinnett County Elections Office mailed out new Voter ID cards recently so the majority of residents have received their new cards. For those who have just recently moved into the area and have not registered for the city elections, the deadline is Monday, Feb. 6.

If you're registered but not sure of your status, visit the Georgia Secretary of State's website. This is a quick way to confirm that you are registered. It will show the current information on file and there is a link where you can change your address.

You can also obtain an absentee ballot application and find early voting locations and view a sample ballot of the upcoming elections.

You can obtain a voter registration form online but once you have completed the form, it must be printed and hand delivered to the Gwinnett County Elections Office.Β  Applications received via email or fax, by law, will be rejected.

The Gwinnett County Elections Office is located at 455 Grayson Highway, Suite 200, in Lawrenceville, the office is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
