Berkeley Hills Country Club has retained Affiniti Golf Partners to manage Berkeley Hills Country Club, a private facility in Duluth.
The club was originally established in 1964 by a group of developers, then purchased by the membership in April 1984. It remains one of the few member-owned clubs today in metro Atlanta, according to a press release issued by Affiniti Golf Partners.
The golf course at Berkeley Hills was designed by the trio of Arthur Davis, Ron Kirby and Hall of Fame golfer Gary Player. The 6,694-yard, par 72 course has a classic tree-lined layout. The course is distinguished by Champion Bermuda greens and a policy that allows walking the course anytime, even on Saturday mornings.
“Berkeley Hills has been a fixture in Atlanta’s social and civic scene for decades and we look forward to putting a special shine on the club as it approaches its 50th anniversary next year,” according to Whitney Crouse, a founding partner in Affiniti Golf Partners.
In addition to championship golf, Berkeley Hills Country Club offer its membership eight lighted tennis courts, including two clay courts, a lap pool and diving well, fitness center, a board room and three private event rooms, plus casual dining in the Mixed Grill and Bar.
Affiniti Golf Partners will oversee the golf and club operations, membership, marketing, finance, dining and special events at Berkeley Hills.
