Check Out This Week's List of Gwinnett Road Closures

No Peachtree Corners are closed or under construction this week (week ending June 1). However, six new road projects involving road closures in nearby communities have been added to the latest road closure report from the Gwinnett Department of Transportation.

Duluth

• Pond Road from Old Norcross Road to 400' NW of Masters Court will close on May 29 for one week for drainage improvements. The detour route will be Pond Road to Old Norcross Road to Hopkins Mill Road to Satellite Boulevard to Pond Road and the reverse. • Sweetwater Road from Old Norcross Road and Pleasant Hill Road is closed through June due to emergency drainage repairs. The detour route will be Sweetwater Road to Old Norcross Road to Breckinridge Boulevard to Pleasant Hill Road to Sweetwater Road and the reverse. Grayson

• Hillside Drive east of Lakemont Road intersection will close June 3 through early July for drainage improvements.  The detour route will be Hillside Drive to Bennett Road to Webb Gin House Road to Grayson Highway to Hillside Drive and the reverse. For eastbound drivers:  Hillside Drive to Bennett Road to Grayson Parkway to Lakeview Road to Hillside Drive and the reverse.  For further information contact the Department of Water Resources at 678.376.6926.

Lawrenceville

• Cruse Road from Sweetwater Circle to Club Drive will require intermittent lane closures, and traffic shifts through September for roadway improvements and bridge replacement, weather permitting. Any such closures will be between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm.

Lilburn

• Dickens Road at Hopkins Elementary School will require intermittent lane closures through July for Queing Lane installation, weather permitting. Any such closures will be between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm.

Suwanee

• Richland Parkway from Taylor Road and Lawrenceville Suwanee Road is closed for two weeks due to emergency drainage repairs. The detour route will be Richland Parkway to Taylor Road to Lawrenceville Suwanee Road to Richland Parkway and the reverse.
