City Council To Consider Inmate Labor for Maintenance Work

Peachtree Corners mayor and council will assess an agreement with Gwinnett County on inmate labor at its Tuesday, Aug. 20 meeting.

The Peachtree Corners City Council has scheduled a meeting for 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20 at City Hall.

On the agenda are two items:

1. A resolution of the mayor and council to send the 2033 Comprehensive Plan to the Atlanta Regional Commission and Georgia Department of Community Affairs for official review.

2. Consider authorizing the mayor to execute an agreement with Gwinnett County for the use of inmate labor for maintenance work within the public right of way.
