Public Hearing on Proposed 2013 Millage Rate on City's Agenda

Peachtree Corners city leaders will also discuss the RFP for residential sanitation services.

The Peachtree Corners City Council has scheduled  a meeting for Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at City Hall. The meeting begins at 7 p.m.

Along with a public hearing on the 2013 millage rate, City Council will discuss, and possibly approve, a vendor for residential sanitation services.

On the agenda:

In Old Business Council will here Second Reads on:

  • An ordinance to amend the zoning map to allow the addition of check cashing, money orders and similar services at a Shell station located at 6405 Peachtree Industrial Boulevard
  • An ordinance to amend the zoning map to rezone a portion of property from C-2 to M-1 to accomodate the construction of a climate controlled self-storage facility at 4779 Peachtree Corners Circle.
  • An ordinance to amend the zoning map to rezone the property across from The Forum from RM and RM-13 (apartments) to M.U.D. (Mixed Use Development). 
Under New Business:
A public hearing for anyone wishing to speak on the proposed 2013 millage rate and a presentation on the city's millage rate.

Two Action Items:
  • Approval of the 2013 millage rate
  • RFP discussion and approval of a vendor for residential sanitation services.
