City Council to Hold Special Called Meeting Tuesday

Peachtree Corners council to hear an update on the new City Hall, consider obtaining a $500,000 Tax Anticipation Note from a local bank and other items.

Peachtree Corners City Council has scheduled a Special Called Meeting for 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2012 to be held at the on West Jones Bridge Road.

On the agenda:

  • A presentation by Chuck Warbington of the Gwinnett Village CID. (A portion of the city of Peachtree Corners falls inside the boundaries of the CID)
  • An update from Pond & Co's representative who will provide an update on the Community Development Planning Issues and Training
  • An update on the additions to the city's website and communication processes
  • The City Council will also consider approving a resolution to accept a $500,000 Tax Anticipation Note (TAN) from Georgia Commerce Bank.
