The Gwinnett Parks & Rec calendar for April includes a photography contest, art shows. Mother-Daughter-Dolly Tea, Wheels & Deals Car Show, yard sales and Meteor Camp out.

Gwinnett Parks & Rec's April calendar features an arts show at the popular Jones Bridge Road Park, located in Peachtree Corners.

April 13, 10:00am-6:00pm – Art on the Chattahoochee

Free admission! Bring your friends and family as we showcase Gwinnett’s finest artists and their work by the beautiful Chattahoochee River. Discover unique crafts including jewelry, paintings, and more. Plus, fun activities for the kids and raffle prizes! Through April 20 – Art Thru the Lens

Fourth annual photography contest where visitors vote for their favorite! Photographers can submit two framed and matted photos in the landscape, pet, or still life categories. Entries due on or before the week of 2/19, all submissions must be approved in advance. Winners announced at an artist reception featuring awards and light refreshments 2:00pm-4:00pm on Saturday, 4/20. Age 50-up, $10/artist, call 678.277.0910 to register with code GPCC14186. Free admission! It's time for spring cleaning! One person's trash is another's treasure, so turn those unwanted items into cash! Rain or Shine. Gwinnett County reserves the right to disallow items deemed inappropriate; yard sale vendors are not allowed to sell food items. April 27, 10:00am- 2:00pm – Wheels & Deals Car Show           

Free admission!  Flex your automotive muscle and provide some vehicular eye candy to the public! Visitors will vote for their favorite show car, hot rod, or muscle car, for the coveted title of "Best in Gwinnett."
