Don't Forget: City Extends Deadline for Proposals for 20.6-Acre Plot

The city of Peachtree Corners is still looking for proposals for the recently purchased 20.6-acre plot across from the Forum.

The deadline for proposals was initially July 1, but that has been extended to August 1.

City officials voted unanimously earlier this year to purchase what has become known as the Robert Property. The deal finally closed in May.

A developer had planned to build a 250-acre apartment complex on the site, but it was deemed out of character with the surrounding area.
