Got Questions About the City of Peachtree Corners' New Charter?
The UPCCA's blogs provide a wealth of information and all can be accessed right here.
Cityhood - it's a big question for the 35,000 + residents who live in the Peachtree Corners community. Citizens will be deciding by vote on Nov. 8, 2011 whether their community should be united and become Gwinnett County's 16th city.
Gov. Nathan Deal signed H.B. 396 on May 11 of this year giving the community the chance to choose. In an effort to inform just what this means, the (UPCCA) has been posting valuable information on this site by way of a series of blogs which appear in the "Local Voices" section of our site.
Over the past months the blogs have been providing the answers to many questions and providing details on the city charter.
