Planning Commission to Hear Rezoning Request

Acreage on Peachtree Parkway may be rezoned. And a property owner wants a Special Use Permit to allow for a truck fleet maintenance facility.

The Peachtree Corners Planning Commission will hold its monthly meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013 at 7 p.m. at City Hall.

On the agenda are two items:

1. Peachtree Parkway Holdings, LLC, owner of 4.32 acres on Peachtree Parkway and Medlock Bridge Road, is requesting that the property be rezoned to allow for the construction of restaurants, office and retail buildings. The property is currently zoned C-2 (general business) and RM-13 (apartments).

2. TK Atlanta Property, LLC is requesting a Special Use Permit on a 2.59-acre parcel of land located at 2805 Amwiler Road to allow a truck fleet maintenance facility to operate on property currently zoned M-1 (light industrial).

The meeting is open to the public.
