Presidential Inauguration: Yes, There's an App for That

A new smartphone app provides live streaming, among other things. Also, check developments leading up to Monday's events.

President Barack Obama's inauguration for his second term is Monday, January 21, in Washington, D.C. And not surprisingly, you can keep track of events as they happen in the palm of your hand.

According to The Washington Post, the Presidential Inaugural Committee has developed a new smartphone app to enable features such as live streaming and a schedule of the day's events.

Also, users can search for volunteer events in Suwanee and Gwinnett that are  keyed to Sunday’s National Day of Service, and share information with others via Twitter, Facebook, e-mail and text message.
