Traffic Alert: Road Work Scheduled for Technology Parkway

The weekly road closures list released by the Gwinnett County Department of Transportation (for the week ending July 12).

New this week to the list:

Peachtree Corners

• Peachtree Industrial Boulevard at Technology Parkway will require intermittent lane closures from July 8 through July 19 for roadway improvements, weather permitting. Any such closures will be between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm.

• Flowery Branch Road from 200 feet south of Bill Cheek Road will close July 17 for one month for drainage improvements. The detour route will be Flowery Branch Road to Braselton Highway/SR 124 to Spout Springs Road to Flowery Branch Road and the reverse. • Boggs Road from Breckinridge Boulevard to Old Norcross Road will require intermittent lane closures through September for sidewalk installation and drainage improvements, weather permitting. Any such closures will be between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm.

Lawrenceville

• Grayson New Hope Road from Chandler Road to New Hope Road is closed due to emergency water main repairs. The detour route will be Grayson New Hope Road to Chandler Road to Ozora Road to Tribble Mill Road to Callie Still Road to New Hope Road to Grayson New Hope Road and the reverse. Norcross

• Mitchell Road from Everglades Road to 400 feet south of Station Circle will close July 15 for one month for drainage improvements. The detour route will be Mitchell Road to Brook Hollow Road to Indian Trail Road to Beaver Ruin Road to Buford Highway to Mitchell Road and the reverse.
