Romney Makes Atlanta Campaign Stops

The GOP candidate appears in Buckhead and Midtown. The Georgia primary is March 6.

 

After losing all three Republican voting contests Tuesday night, GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney made the first of two Atlanta appearances Wednesday afternoon at the Bottega by Stones International showroom in Buckhead.

Before several hundred enthusiastic supporters - but not a dozen or so Newt Gingrich supporters who were not allowed in - the former Massachusetts governor lashed out at President Obama and his GOP rivals.

After his approximately 30-minute speech, Romney departed for the  for a $2,500 per person VIP reception and a $1,000 per person general reception.
