Trash Pickup Moved To Saturday for Christmas, New Year's Week

Trash hauler pick up schedules for Peachtree Corners has been changed due to the holidays.

Gwinnett County announced that the pick up schedules for trash haulers and recycling has changed for the Christmas and New Year's holidays.

  • For Christmas week, Friday pickups will be rescheduled for Saturday, Dec. 28.
  • For New Year's week, Friday pickups will be rescheduled for Saturday, Jan. 4.
The city of Peachtree Corners takes over trash collection service on Jan. 1 and beginning Feb. 3, trash pick up days will change to Mondays.

Also beginning the first of the year, Peachtree Corners residents will see a reduction in the cost of trash pick up.

Residents will pay $11.50 per month per household. The basic service includes one 95-gallon cart and one 18-gallon recycling container, a savings of $7.15 per month for the same service currently provided. The annual savings is $85.80 for a savings of 38.3% annually.
