City Leaders to Name New Municipal Judge and Land Development Inspector

Two back-to-back meetings are scheduled Tuesday, Sept. 17, one an executive session, the second to appoint judge, swear in an inspector and two code enforcement officers.

The Peachtree Corners City Council has scheduled back-to-back meetings for Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2013.

The first meeting scheduled for 6 p.m. is a Special Called Meeting which will convene to a joint executive session with the Downtown Development Authority board to discuss a real estate matter. A copy of the agenda is located on the city's website.


At 7 p.m. the City Council will hold its regularly bi-monthly meeting.

On the agenda:

  • Swearing in of a Land Development Inspector
  • Swearing in of two Code enforcement officers.
In new business:

The City Council is expected to appoint Charles Lewis Barrett, III as the city's new municipal judge. More information is located in the agenda packet on the city's website.

The City Council will also consider a franchise agreement with Comcast.
