Introducing The Peachtree Corners Cycling Club

The Peachtree Corners Cycling Club is a local bike club that rides from the Fowler YMCA for fun, fitness and the support of worthy charities

Hello Peachtree Corners! I want to introduce you to the Peachtree Corners Cycling Club (PC3 for short).

You may have seen us as we gather for a ride in the parking lot of Fowler YMCA for and early Saturday or Sunday morning ride. Or maybe you have encountered us on the streets around Peachtree Corners.

Our club has been riding together for over 15 years although we just adopted the PC3 name earlier this year. We ride for fun and fitness but we also support a number of charitable efforts, the most important being the LiveStrong Foundation and the CF “Cycle for Life” in support of cystic fibrosis research. You can learn more about the club at http://www.pc3cycling.com/

My objectives for this blog are threefold.

First, if you are a cyclist looking for a group ride or someone who is interested in exploring cycling as an activity. I hope to give you the opportunity to learn about PC3 and cycling.  I hope to have many of you come out and join a ride with us.

Next, whether you ride, run, or just think about getting in shape, I hope to offer helpful fitness and training tips.

Finally, I want to use this space to foster a better understanding of how bikes and motor vehicles can share the road safely and with consideration for one another.

I welcome your suggestions for topics to address in this space. Please comment and let me know what is of interest and important to you.
