It is certainly an exciting time to be in real estate and it is an honor to sell homes in some of the most beautiful communities in metro Atlanta. In this article I would like to share a little bit of history about one of the neighborhoods in Peachtree Corners. This will help you understand why we have such a strong real estate market.
The genius of Jim Cowart is reflected throughout Peachtree Corners. He built it and we came. Every neighborhood that has his touch is successful. The last big development was the building of his Fields of Dreams. The Amberfield, Linfield and Riverfield neighborhoods have become the hallmark of Peachtree Corners.
The excitement in our area when the first road was in place and Riverfield became a reality was hard to describe. As a Realtor in the area it was the talk of the office. The plans were new and exciting; two-story family rooms and open concepts, giant masters with huge closets and spa baths were very exciting to show. The homes were stunning and the subdivisions blossomed.
There was much excitement about The Fields Club and all that it offered. It is located on 50 acres with 40 of these running along the Chattahoochee. There are two junior Olympic size pools. It has a great clubhouse, ball fields and eight lighted tennis courts which serves the dedicated ALTA players and provides a great place for tournaments.
Riverfield was the first Fields Community Mr. Cowart developed and with the exciting demand for these homes, Amberfield was right behind. Linfield was developed once Amberfield was up and running. Bringing exciting new plans and dynamic builders on board, the communities flourished and today these three communities remain among the most desired in Peachtree Corners.
A strong homeowner’s association has been able to maintain the stunning entry ways and preserve the integrity of these neighborhoods. Pride of ownership is reflected in the well maintained lawns and the beautiful landscaping.
There is not a huge turnover in these communities and often you find people moving within these three neighborhoods. They love living in The Fields communities and, of course, staying in the city that they have grown to love.Homes that sold in the Fields Communities this year sold for between $350,000 and $522,000 with an average sales price of $446,219. If you want to purchase a home in any of these communities you might find yourself in a multiple offer situation. There are currently six homes on the market and 18 have sold year-to-date.
