First Home Now Up in Peachtree Reserve Subdivision

The entrance gate and landscaping is expected to be installed by the end of January.

It's been a long time coming, but Peachtree Reserve, the 10-acre subdivision along Bush Road in Peachtree Corners, is finally taking shape.

The first home, a two-story, 4,100 square-foot home, is under construction and is expected to be complete by spring, said Matt Rhule, Re/Max Alliance broker who is marketing the new community.

When complete, the new gated Peachtree Corners development will include 16 homes.

"We expect to have the entrance gate and landscaping in by the end of January," said Rhule.

The developer has plans for two additional homes but is waiting for sewer and water inspections by Gwinnett County. Once the inspections are complete, a final plat will be recorded and the developer will be able to continue building.

The five-bedroom, four-bath home currently under construction will have a full basement, bricks on all four sides and a three-car side entry garage and will serve as the model home.

The 4,000 to 4,800 square foot homes are expected to be priced in the $600,000 to $700,000 range said Rhule.
